Mr. Sismilich worked for the Hewlett-Packard Company for 23 years in New Jersey, Delaware, and Southern California, and as an engineer, engineering manager, and intellectual property attorney. He has a broad technical background that includes architectural, circuit, and software design experience in test systems, measurement instrumentation, chemical analysis
instrumentation, and inkjet printing. He is named sole inventor on a patent for a graphical user interface for electronic instruments, and is a co-inventor on a pending inkjet printer software patent. As a manager, he led the successful development and introduction of over 20 new HP products.

Mr. Sismilich is experienced in intellectual property law from both the business and the legal perspectives. As an engineering manager, he was responsible for managing HP's gas chromatography patent portfolio and coordinating the strategic patenting activities of a division. As an attorney, he was responsible for managing HP's inkjet printing software and solutions patent portfolio across multiple divisions, including invention harvesting, patent preparation and prosecution, and management of outside counsel.

Bob Sismilich received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with Honor, and a Master of Electrical Engineering Degree, from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, in 1974 and 1975 respectively. He received his J.D. Degree, magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE, in 1998. He has been admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
